In today's culture many people are wondering: "What is church?  Is it just a building for people to gather in?  Is it just another social agency in the community?"  Well, if you have tried "church" and found it lacking or have thought perhaps "church" didn't have anything to offer you - I would like to invite you to experience the joy at First Baptist.

 

At First Baptist, Duncan, we desire to be a people who know the joy of having a relationship with Jesus and demonstrate that joy in very real and meaningful ways.  We want to be a people who demonstrate their love for God by loving and serving others.

 

People from all walks of life, from all across southern Oklahoma, in families of one or more, come "just as they are" to experience the joy of discovering the unconditional love and acceptance of Jesus Christ.  If you have tried "church" and felt something was missing, let me invite you to experience the joy of knowing Jesus at First Baptist.  We always count it a privilege to have guests visit us for any of our worship services or activities.
