Shirley Hilliard has been in full-time ministry for 29 years and has served at First Baptist Duncan, for 23 of those 29 years. She grew up in Western Oklahoma and attended Southwestern State College (Now called SWOSU – Southwestern Oklahoma State University) in Weatherford. Shirley is married to Jody and has two grown sons, Brint and Cary. All three of her “boys” are in full-time ministry. Shirley also has six grandchildren who are the joy of her life. In her free time she enjoys shopping and traveling.
As we continue to minister to young families it is her passion to live the words of the scripture passage found in III John: verse 4, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth”.
Shirley believes that it is our privilege to tell the future generation to "Train up a child in the Way he should go and even when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6
