| Women's Ministry |
Women don't need one more activity to check off their to-do list; however, they need practical ways to enrich their lives. At FBC Duncan, women have the opportunity to make spiritual growth a priority by joining other women for Bible Study, mentoring and "girlfriend" time.
We hope that whatever your needs may be, you will find them fulfilled in the many study opportunities and new friendships available through the Women's Ministry of First Baptist Church.
Weekly Bible Studies
Various Bible studies are available to encourage women in their daily walk with God. Topical studies also address womens' special needs and assist her in applying those principles in her daily life.
Special Events
Women love special events. Our annual Christmas Tea has proven to be a time of joy and relaxation during a very busy season. Exciting guest speakers have helped make our Christmas Tea something to anticipate every December. Other evening events held throughout the year include fun meals, interesting discussion topics, and fellowship times with other women. Retreats and conferences, such as "Women of Faith" are a few examples of our out-of-town trips.
MOD
MOD stands for Mothers of Duncan, which is a program designed to nurture mothers with young children. Our monthly meetings are designed to encourage and inform you. MOD is a relevant and a caring network, making moms better moms through the use of trusted resources and relationships. MOD also has an excellent childcare environment, where children have fun while they learn.
