The needs of preschool children go beyond physical and mental development to encompass emotional, social, moral and spiritual development. The Child Development Center's mission is to minister on a tuition basis to the families in our community who find it necessary to seek care away from home for their preschool children.

At First Baptist, we have a heart for missions. Not only do we give a substantial portion of our budget to missions, we actually participate in spreading the Word by doing the work ourselves. The Nail Benders do construction and repair jobs for homes or churches across North America. We also are planting churches in Arizona, Malawi and Mexico. All members of First Baptist are eligible to take mission trips to places like Guatemala, Mexico and Africa.

One of the greatest joys we have as Christians is the praise and worship of Almighty God. As the Bible says, "God delights in the praises of His people." So we offer many exciting opportunities for church members to use their musical gifts: choir, praise team, ensembles, hand bells, instruments, drama, the "Living Christmas Tree", and other musical productions. Our Prayer Ministry is designed for all who need prayer for themselves and for others.

Senior adults meet to worship together each Sunday morning.

This ministry reaches out to the women of our community. The Women's Ministry facilitates events and studies throughout the year to help bring women closer to God and to each other.

First Baptist's Young Adult Ministry strives to help busy young adults meet to fellowship and strengthen their relationship with Jesus Christ. We offer Bible Study classes, discussion groups and various fellowship opportunities for young adults to share their joys and support one another in times of struggle. We hope your life will be enriched through this ministry and that you'll develop a more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.
